With massive expansion dropping, players are already planning their next League Start in Path of Exile 3.27. That’s why we’ve compiled a PoE 3.27 build tier list, breakdown of every major league starter build from the community — ranked from S tier to D tier.
This tier list isn’t just about raw damage numbers — it’s based on how each build actually performs as a league starter in the first week of Path of Exile 3.27. Whether you’re chasing speed, survivability, or pure chaos, this list will help you find the perfect build to dominate the 3.27 league. Without further ado, let's check our Path of Exile 3.27 tier list, including top-tier setups from creators like Dan, Fubgun, Pohx, Palsteron, and GhazzyTV.
Type: Ranged attack build (Warden = Ranger ascendancy)
Excellent clear and scaling through Tinctures (new 3.27 mechanic). Very strong late-game potential once Kinetic Blast and Kinetic Rain become available in Act 3. Needs an alternative leveling skill early on (like bows). Best endgame scaling build for 3.27 if you can get through the early game.
Downside: Weak early leveling and potentially expensive setup.
Type: Budget version of Kinetic Blast
Much cheaper, uses standard rares instead of high-end uniques or transfigured gems. Great clear, accessible for new players. Best budget S-tier option — accessible and strong for early mapping.
Downside: Lower damage ceiling than Warden variant.
Type: Spell-based Physical Damage over Time build
Recently buffed in 3.27; scales extremely well with Elementalist golems and shock effects. Great clear (Breach-friendly) and solid bossing. Flexible — can use Reap or Exsanguinate, or even Spellslinger setups. Top-tier league starter for players who like DoT casters — very strong and tanky.
Downside: Gear dependency for scaling into endgame.
Type: Totem Bow build
Great for low-end PCs, simple playstyle, good for Ultimatum or stationary fights. Scales with Ballistas and totem buffs. Beginner-friendly and stable.
Downside: Lower damage scaling; can feel clunky.
Type: Totem attack build (Power Siphon variant)
Good early mapping, ranged safety, and solid single target. Excellent for newer players. A+ reliable build for new players; easy gearing.
Downside: Not flashy; slower clear compared to top meta builds.
Type: Melee Dexterity stacker using Hollow Palm Technique + Dancing Dervish
Fun, fast-moving melee build with high attack speed. Super cheap core setup (Facebreaker + Hollow Palm jewel). Good fun project, but not as meta or efficient as ranged builds.
Downside: Unarmed mechanics disable weapon slots; scaling dex can be gear-heavy.
Type: Melee teleporting skill
Extreme map clear speed and chaos. Explosive visuals and fast-paced gameplay. Fun but inconsistent — not ideal for beginners or league start.
Downside: Difficult setup; requires frenzy charge generation.
Type: Pathfinder poison melee
Great poison scaling, strong expedition farmer. Easy access to transfigured gem via early lab farm.
Viable B-tier for poison enjoyers, solid with practice.
Downside: Mediocre early game without correct gem or flask setup.
Type: Classic burning DoT build
Still tanky, chill playstyle. Works well for veterans who understand its mechanics. Only viable in the hands of experts; otherwise weak.
Downside: Heavy nerfs; terrible single target unless supported by another skill.
Type: Summoner
Uses Wretched Defiler specters and new Bloodline Ascendancy synergy (post-Katarina). Can reach 100%+ global defense scaling via specter stacking. Endgame powerhouse, bad league starter.
Downside: Requires late-game gear and Syndicate farming; slow start.
Type: Melee
Immortal with mirror-tier gear. Bad league start; high-end only.
Downside: Glass cannon until hyper-geared; zero defenses or scaling early on.
Type: Energy Blade melee hybrid
Experimental concept. Don’t league start with this; too weak early and underdeveloped.
Downside: Two-handed, no block, no suppression — very squishy.
