Trials in ARC Raiders brings together the community to complete various challenges week by week to be placed on a competitive leaderboard. Raiders are tasked with participating in 5 different Trials (which rotate into a new set of Trials every week too), the goal is simple – gain as much score as possible in each Trial objective in an attempt to promote in Trial Rank. Of course, plenty of Raiders only want to cash in their quick 4000 score for the 3-Star rewards each week too. In this guide, we’ll go over the best ways to approach and Damage Leapers to maximize your score (or get your fill and get out) and etch your place in the Speranza Hotshots.

This trial can be done in all party sizes to an effective level, whether that’s gaining your 3-star rating (which requires 4000 score) or pushing to maximize your points for promotion.
The scoring for “Damage” on a Leaper is simple. In this case, the Leapers give around 1760~ score each during the day. However, they give 3500~ each in 2x modifiers. As a result, in a 2x event scenario – you can easily rack up the score.
For this Trial, the objective requires destroying as many Leapers as possible within the raids time limit. As a result, you’ll mostly need essentials, and a good weapon for killing Leapers. We recommend bringing:
More expensive alternatives:
Most of the above can be tweaked to your preference, however, this set-up ensures you can move around the map, effectively deal with all ARC threats and cover yourself should an opponent get the jump on you.
The best map to push for the maximum score possible is Dam Battleground with any 2x Modifier enabled. Check our Event Timers to know when your next chance is!
This method works the same whether you’re solo or in a group. This is because you’ll want to be rotating away from each spawn to ensure a new Leaper appears later.
The main place to return to during this route is located near the lower base of the Control Tower, at the bottom of the Dam wall. Here, you’ll be able to see up to 3 potential Leaper spawn spots, and pull them to you with your Anvil or weapon of choice.
After dealing with the Leapers that spawn here, you can move up through the Dam and head towards the Water Treatment Extract. Usually there is a single Leaper that spawns here. Next, move to Hydrophonic Dome Complex (or look from a distance) to check for a Leaper spawn. However, please note most of the time a Bastion takes this place, at least more frequently than a Leaper.
Finally, you can move back towards the spot shown above and look out for more Leaper spawns. Repeat this until extraction.
To deal with a Leaper, you’ll want to pull them from range up to the spot shown above (or a safe spot elsewhere – usually on the edge of a door/building). Once they’re next to you, make sure you’re not too close to get knocked over by their leap, or even worse – their AoE pulse. Depending on the loadout you’ve brought with you, you can simply kite or hold the Leaper by a door and bring them down with your primary weapon over time.
Shooting their center is the quickest way to deal maximum damage and eventually destroy them too. However, a few Blaze Grenades or some Light Impact Grenade spam can take them down efficiently too. Damaging and destroying 2 Leapers is more than enough for a 3-star reward score, however, repeat the route above until your desired score and extract safely. If you have the more expensive options available, Wolfpacks will bring them down almost immediately and the Hullcracker/Jupiter makes light work.
This method can generate anywhere from 4,000-28,000+ score depending on party size and raid timer without distractions.
